Marco Bulacia Wilkinson started his career in motorsports at the age of 15. After a few successful results in his home country Bolivia he made his way to compete in Italy at the age of 17.
He made his World Rally Championship debut at the 2018 Rally Mexico, competing in a Ford Fiesta R5. In his first round in the world championship he finished in thirteenth overall position.
In 2019, the season began in WRC-2, achieving his first podium with a second place in the Rally of Mexico, finishing in seventh position in the general classification of the rally.
He got another podium in the Rally of Turkey where he also finished in second position.
Also this season he was hired by ล koda Motorsport to compete the rallies of Argentina and Chile.
Marco continued to progress winning the Rally Mexico and making history by becoming the first Bolivian to win a rally in any of the categories that make up the World Rally Championship.
After some more podiums in Rally Estonia and Rally of Turkey he became the leader of the WRC-3 category. Finally he ended the season as runner up in the category, thus achieving the greatest milestone of his racing career.
In 2021 and 2022, Bulacia Wilkinson was selected to compete alongside Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen in WRC-2 for the Toksport WRT and receiving official support from ล koda Motorsport.
In 2023, his target is to became World Rally Champion in WRC-2 category by the hand of Toksport WRT
