Who is Tobias?
Tobias Penasse is a dedicated and fast-rising beach volleyball player with Belgian and Estonian roots. Known for his quick reactions, smart plays, and relentless defense, Tobias has become a familiar name in Estonia’s beach volleyball scene. He began gaining attention in 2023 with strong results at the Beach Break Camp tournaments and built on that success in 2024 with multiple podium finishes in the Beach44 series, which is considered one of the top-level beach volleyball competitions in Estonia.
Tobias trains under the guidance of his coaches Indrek Verro and Dmitri Korotkov, constantly working to improve his technique, decision-making, and physical performance. His main goal for 2025 is to compete at the CEV U20 European Championship, and he has also started playing on the international Beach Pro Tour with his partner Aleks Kalle.
Looking ahead, Tobias plans to continue his volleyball journey at a university in the United States starting in 2026, combining high-level sport with academic studies. With his strong work ethic and passion for the game, Tobias is determined to keep developing and pursue success on the international beach volleyball stage.
